Monthly Meeting – November 2008
Meeting called to order 11/18/2008 1900 Hours @VFD #2.
Secretaries Report: October minutes read into record. Condorelli/Barry
Communications: Grace Hardison from 10 Stocker Road left care package at desk thanking us for
assistance with burglary.
Treasurers Report: Fund Drive $982.00, Checks $32045.50, balances read.
Vice Presidents Report: Purchased two ice cream cakes for meeting.
Presidents Report:
Fair in the Square Saturday December 6, 2008.
Changes coming to collective bargaining seminar 2/11 – 2/13 and State meeting 2/10, recommend sending
two members.
Mini Convention 3/2- 3/6/09.
Letter was sent to Chief regarding Sgt. Test regarding patrolmen to be excused to take the exam.
Barry/Wardrope
Delegates Report:
League of municipalities 11/19/2008
IRS bill postponed till 2011. Ballantyne/Shafer
Committee Reports:
Cops and Rodders - need another subcommittee for fundraising.
Costume Trip - scheduled for 12/19, meet at 0700.
Christmas Party – booked 12/12/08, deposit left at Rome.
Old Business: Pensions: Loan application now online only. Update your benefits page.
New Business:
Motion for up to $499.00 for promotional items for Fair in the Square.
De Stefano/Condorelli
Motion for up to 4 guys to attend for 3 nights at the collective bargaining seminar.
Krause/Ballantyne
The following has been recommended for silver life cards: Frazee and Chris Segara.
Thorward/Young
Oprah request for Capt., Sgt., Ptlm., McSeveney, payouts upon retirement.
HBW Environmental trip committee – no donation.
Sona – Town changed prescription benefits for retired guys.
Condorelli – I.A. needs to be done by A.G. guidelines.
Baseball hats were designed by Walter Graulich.
Captain De Stefano- Equipment in vehicles not being taken care of properly. Microphone missing in car 4.
