Meeting called to order 1855 hours @ VFD#2

Secretary’s Report: April minuets read into record                         Traettino/DePoe

Treasurer’s Report: no report

V. P. Report: no report

President’s Report: Town Manager – no action on contract signing, next due on June 2nd due to lack of
council members.

Delegate’s Report: 180 day bill written, to be introduced to legislation by summer.
    PTC given layoff notices by Corzine, after review by PBA, layoffs cancelled.
    PBA to “Self Insure” manage benefits for legal protection.
    State Valor Awards deadline is June 22nd
     Line of Duty shooting not a traumatically event for pension        Barry/Ballantyne

Committees: Cops & Rodders – 30 sponsors and counting – obligations for members discussed. – June 22nd
@ 0700 hours.
    Scholarship – essays due back on Thursday, $1,000.00 donation from Ornstien.
    Torch run – June 6th, volunteers needed.

Nominations: Ed Carattini nominated by Kiernan/DePoe – declined by Carattini.
    Ron Thorward nominated by Barone/DePoe – declined by Thorward
    Ron Thorward nominated by DePoe/Barone – accepted by Thorward
    Nominations closed – 1 vote cast by Secretary Young for Ron Thorward.

John C. Lecruex sworn in as Member.
Ron Thorward sworn in as Delegate.

Old Business: By Laws deletion of Dues Reimbursements and Vest Fund.
    Motion to reimburse Wardrope, O’Connor, & Carattini of medical payments to date.  Passed

New Business: DiStefano recommended looking for a new accountant, to be looked into by Delegate and
past treasurers.
    Motion for Woodbridge – member lost wife, $50.00 to Faye Hecht Fund – passed

    Motion for Seaside Officer who is ill - $50.00 to David Szalkowski Fund – passed
unanimously                                                                Traettino/Ballantyne
    Discussion held on DB covering patrol overtime and on P.E.O. working supervisor overtime.
    Motion for up to $1,000.00 for shirts, and food for PBA sale at Cops & Rodders show – passed
unanimously                                                Traettino/Ballantyne
    Annual Summer BBQ committee: Traettino, Barry, Parsels, Kraus, Lecruex, Ruglio & Kiernan – to be held
June 17th.
